Babes-in-Arms Welcome
Friends of Muskoka Midwives (FOMM) present “Fill Your Cup”, a day dedicated to over-extended Mamas we all know, we all are or we all have been at one point or another! Our event will take place Saturday, April 14th from 9am-3pm at BMLSS/ Rene Caisse Theatre in Bracebridge, and we are anticipating a wonderful turn out!
“Rest and self-care are so important. When you take time to replenish your spirit, it allows you to serve from the overflow. You cannot serve from an empty vessel.” - Eleanor Brownn
We couldn’t agree with this statement more, and we have been spending months planning ways to help fill the vessels of local Mamas. This is the first time we are offering a women-centred event full of sessions on self-care, self-help, education and parenting; we are also offering some time for a self-reflection, a warm beverage bar and a colourful vendors market which will serve our attendants to continue to carve time out for themselves long after our event is over. We are most excited to have partnered with local potter Tara Gilchrist Love of Chetolah Pottery Studio (www.chetolah.ca), who will create original mugs for our event which all registrants will receive… a visual reminder to ‘fill your cup’ every day! Can't wait to see you all on April 14th!
